The mission of the Family and Consumer Sciences Educators section of WA-ACTE is to provide leadership and services to the members through advocacy, education, networking, and recognition. Members are valued as professionals facing the challenges of empowering individuals and families in a diverse global society.
To that end, scholarships covering the member registration fee will be offered each year for both the WA-ACTE Summer Conference and for the Washington FCS Annual Conference in October. For each conference, one scholarship will be available to a member at-large, and one to a current FACSE Executive Board member. The purpose is to enable attendance at a conference when the costs of attending are otherwise an obstacle. Funds will be reimbursed by check from the association treasurer, to an individual or their school district, upon receipt of appropriate conference registration documentation.
Application Deadlines:
Summer Conference – May 15
Annual Conference – September 15
